DAMS SAFETY ACT 1978-PROCLAMATION
Gordon Samuels, Governor.
I, the Honourable Gordon Samuels AC, Governor of the State of New South Wales, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of section 27 (1) of the Dams Safety Act 1978, do, by this my Proclamation, amend Schedule 1 (Prescribed dams) to that Act by inserting in Columns 1 and 2 of that Schedule, in alphabetical order of the names of dams:

Dams Safety Act 1978—Proclamation
EXPLANATORY NOTE
The object of this Proclamation is to add to Schedule 1 to the Dams Safety Act 1978 certain dams that the Dams Safety Committee considers may present a safety hazard to life, property or the environment.
The Dams Safety Act 1978 enables the Committee to exercise certain powers in relation to dams listed in the Schedule (eg the issuing of notices requiring work to be done in relation to the safety of a dam).
