Dampier Port Authority Amendment

Regulations 1998

Made by the Dampier Port Authority with the approval of the deputy of the Governor in Executive Council.

1.      Citation

These regulations may be cited as the Dampier Port Authority
Amendment Regulations 1998.

2.      The regulations amended

The amendments in these regulations are to the Dampier Port Authority
Regulations 1989*.

3.      Regulation 35 amended

(1) After regulation 35(2) the following subregulation is inserted —

CG

(2a) The master of a pleasure vessel within the Port shall

ensure that the vessel does not approach within 50 m of
a wharf or trestle except with the permission of the
Harbour Master.
Penalty: $2 000. 99.

(2)	Regulation 35(3) is amended by inserting after "or (2)" the
following —

or to keep his vessel clear of a wharf or trestle in

accordance with subregulation (2a) 91.

4. Schedule 4 amended
Schedule 4 is amended as follows:

(a)	in item 1, by deleting "3.6 cents" and inserting instead —
" 3.1 cents 99.

(b)	in item 3(c), by inserting after "Port)" the following —
" — for days after the first month ".

Passed by a resolution of the Dampier Port Authority at a meeting of the
Authority held on 18 September 1998.
