An Act to authorise the construction, main
tenance, and use of a railway siding across
Wilson-street, Albury, and for other pur
poses. [26th November, 1912.]
| WH E R E A S Dalgety and Company, Limited, have applied to the Chief Commissioner for Railways and Tramways to construct | a railway siding from the main Southern Railway Line at Albury to the | |
| premises of Dalgety and Company, Limited, which the said Chief Commissioner has agreed to do : And whereas the Municipal Council | ||
| of Albury has consented to the said siding being constructed across | ||
| Wilson-street, audit is expedient to authorise the construction thereof: | ||
| Re it therefore enacted by the King's Most Execllent.Majesty, by and | ||
| with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative | ||
| Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the | ||
| authority of the same as follows :— | ||

Southern railway line and at a distance of about one hundred and forty-four feet west thereof, and to use thereon locomotive engines and other motive or tractive power and to draw or propel thereby carriages and waggons upon the said siding.
2 . The Chief Commissioner shall have all such rights of ingress and egress to, from, and over the surface of the said street as are required for the construction, maintenance, and repair of such siding and may from time to time open up the surface of the said street for the purposes of such construction, maintenance, or repair,
d. 3 . The" powers given by this Act shall be used so as to interfere as little as may be reasonably possible with traffic and public conveni- ence, and all works commenced shall be expeditiously carried out, and adequate provision shall be made at all times for the public safety during the construction, maintenance, use, and repair of the said siding. 4 . Nothing in this Act contained shall prejudice or affect the power of the Municipal Council of Albury with respect to the control, management, and maintenance of the said street or prevent the said council from constructing, laying, maintaining, altering, or repairing sewers, pipes, or drains in or under the said street under the said siding.
5. This Act may be cited as the " Dalgety Siding Act, 1912."
