14 Dairy Products Stabilisation Acts Repeal Act 1981, No. 2 BE IT ENACTED by the Queen' s Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled , and by the authority of the same , as follows:- 1. Short title . This Act may be cited as the Dairy Products Stabilisation Acts Repeal Act 1981. 2. Commencement . (1) The provisions of this Act other than sections 4 and 5 shall come into operation on the day on which the Governor gives his assent to this Act for and on behalf of Her Majesty. (2) Sections 4 and 5 of this Act shall come into operation on a date to be proclaimed by the Governor. (3) The Governor shall not proclaim a date for the coming into operation of sections 4 and 5 unless he is satisfied that the Queensland Dairy Products Stabilisation Board has complied with the provisions of section 3 (1). 3. Vesting of property. (1) Forthwith upon the commencement of this Act the Queensland Dairy Products Stabilisation Board (hereinafter in this Act called " the Board ") constituted under The Dairy Products Stabilisation Acts, 1933 to 1957 shall cause all the moneys credited to the account maintained by the Board at the branch of the Commonwealth Trading Bank of Australia situated at 317 George Street Brisbane in the State of Queensland, being account number 800-159 together with all interest thereon (if any) to be placed to the credit of the account maintained by the Queensland Dairy Product Manufacturers' Co-operative Association (hereinafter in this Act called- the Association ") at the branch of the Commonwealth Savings Bank of Australia situated at 317 George Street Brisbane in the said State, being account number 905-866. (2) Upon the Board complying with the provisions of subsection (1), the moneys referred to in that subsection shall, by force of this Act, be divested from the Board and be vested in the members for the time being of the Executive Committee of the Association to be used by them for the purpose of promoting the objects of the Association and the Board shall have no further responsibility in respect of those moneys. 4. Dissolution of Board. The appointment of each of the members of the Board is terminated and the Board is dissolved. 5. Repeal. The Acts specified in the Schedule are repealed.
