MENT) ACT.

t h e same, as f o l lows :—
  1. (1) This Act may be cited as the " D a i r y Produc t s

(Amendment) Act, 1936."
(2) The Da i ry P roduc t s Act, 1933, as amended by this Act may be cited as the " D a i r y P roduc t s Act, 1933-1936."

  1. The Da i ry P roduc t s Act, 1933, is amended—

(a) (i) by inser t ing in subsection two of section
three af ter the word " m a n n e r " the words
" a n d within the t i m e " ;

(ii)   by omitting from subsection three of the same section the words " f o u r t e e n days af ter the commencement of this A c t " and by inser t ing in lieu thereof the words " t h e

t ime p r e s c r i b e d " ;

(iii)   by omitting subsection four of the same section and by inser t ing in lieu thereof the following subsection:—

(4) (a) The t e r m of office of the mem­ bers of the B o a r d holding office immediately before the commencement of the Da i ry P roduc t s (Amendment) Act, 1936, shall

expire on the twelfth day of J a n u a r y , one
thousand nine hundred and thir ty-seven.
(b) The t e rm of office of members
of the B oa r d appoin ted af te r such com­
mencement (other than a member appointed to fill a casual vacancy) shall expire a t the

end of a period of three years af ter the da te upon which they assume office as members of the Board .

(c) Any member re t i r ing from office on the expira t ion of his t e r m of office shall, if otherwise qualified, be eligible for re-appointment .

(b) by omit t ing section sixteen.
