Dairy Produce Levy Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting:

(a) with the advice of the Federal Executive Council; and

(b) after taking into consideration the recommendation with respect to the rate to be prescribed for the purposes of subsection 7 (4A) of the Dairy Produce Levy (No. 1) Act 1986 made to the Minister for Primary Industries and Energy by the members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council (being the Council established under the Exotic Animal Disease Control Act 1989)who were nominated by the National Farmers’ Federation;

make the following Regulations under the Dairy Produce Levy (No. 1)Act 1986.

1. Commencement

1.1 These Regulations commence on 1 July 1993.

2. Amendment

2.1 The Dairy Produce Levy Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

3. Regulation 4 (Rates of levy on the milk fat content of relevant dairy produce)

3.1 Subregulation 4 (5):

Omit “0.042”, substitute “0.047”.
