(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council and having taken into consideration the latest recommendation made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by the executive council of the Australian Dairy Industry Conference Inc. with respect to the rate of levy to be prescribed for the purposes of subsection 7 (4) of the Dairy Produce Levy (No. 1) Act 1986,hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 October 1989.

Rates of levy on the milk fat content of relevant dairy produce

2. Regulation 4 of the Dairy Produce Levy Regulations is amended by omitting from subregulation (4) “0.68” and substituting “1.30”.
