(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, having taken into consideration the last recommendation made to the Minister of State for Primary Industries and Energy by certain members of the Exotic Animal Disease Preparedness Consultative Council with respect to the rate to be prescribed for the purposes of subsection 7 (4A) of the Dairy Produce Levy (No. 1) Act 1986,hereby make the following Regulations under that Act.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 April 1990.

Rates of levy on the milk fat content of relevant dairy produce

2. Regulation 4 of the Diary Produce Levy Regulations is amended by adding at the end the following subregulation:

“(5) The amount of 0.03 cent per kilogram of milk fat content in, or comprising, relevant dairy produce is prescribed for the purposes of subsection 7 (4A) of the Act.”.
