REGULATIONS UNDER THE DAIRY PRODUCE EXPORT CONTROL ACT 1924-1938.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL, in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Dairy Produce Export Control Act 1924-1938.

Amendment of the Dairy Produce Export Control (Staff) Regulations. 

Commencement.

1. These Regulations shall be deemed to have come into operation on the first day of January, 1940.

2. After Regulation 5a of the Dairy Produce Export Control (Staff) Regulations the following regulation is inserted:—

Higher duties allowance.

“5b. An officer who is required—

(a) to perform, for a continuous period of not less than one month, the whole or any portion of the duties of an officer the maximum salary of whose position is higher than the maximum salary of the position of the first-mentioned officer; or

(b) to perform special duties;

shall be paid an allowance of such amount (if any) as the Minister, after recommendation by the Board, determines:

Provided that, where an officer has ceased to perform the duties of another officer and is subsequently required to perform the whole or any portion of the duties of that officer for a period of less than one month within twelve months after so ceasing, no allowance under paragraph (a) of this regulation shall be payable”.
