REGULATIONS UNDER THE DAIRY PRODUCE EXPORT CONTROL ACT 1924-1966.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Dairy Produce Export Control Act 1924-1966.

Amendments of the Dairy Produce Export Control (Election of Board) Regulations.  

Scrutiny of votes and declarations.

1. Regulation 32 of the Dairy Produce Export Control (Election of Board) Regulations is amended by omitting paragraphs (d) and (e) and inserting in their stead the following paragraph:—

(d) place all envelopes accepted for further scrutiny on a table before him with the declaration on each envelope facing downwards, and then withdraw from each envelope the ballot-paper or ballot-papers contained in it and, without inspecting the vote or votes or permitting any other person to do so, forthwith place the ballot-paper or ballot-papers in a locked and sealed ballot-box provided for the purpose of holding ballot-papers relating to that election; and”.

Further scrutiny.

2. Regulation 33 of the Dairy Produce Export Control (Election of Board) Regulations is amended by omitting the words “in paragraph (e)” and inserting in their stead the words “in paragraph (d)”.

3. Form A in the Schedule to the Dairy Produce Export Control (Election of Board) Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Fifty pounds” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words “One hundred dollars”.

4. Form B in the Schedule to the Dairy Produce Export Control (Election of Board) Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Fifty pounds” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words “One hundred dollars”.

The Schedule— Form H.

5. Form H in the Schedule to the Dairy Produce Export Control (Election of Board) Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Fifty pounds” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words “One hundred dollars”.

The Schedule— Form I

6. Form I in the Schedule to the Dairy Produce Export Control (Election of Board) Regulations is amended by omitting the words “Fifty pounds” (wherever occurring) and inserting in their stead the words “One hundred dollars”.

Amendments in relation to decimal currency.

7. The Dairy Produce Export Control (Election of Board) Regulations are amended as set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
