B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legis- lative Council and Legislative Assembly of Queensland in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : - 1. After section seventeen of the Principal Act, the Standard for following section is inserted :- cream on sale or on [17A. J No person shall sell or supply, or offer or expose purchase for sale, any cream which contains less than the prescribed by factory. standard of butter-fat. No owner of a factory shall knowingly buy any cream which contains less than the prescribed standard of butter- fat. 3. [10A.J Prescribing a minimum standard of butter- Standard for fat in cream; requiring owners of factories to cream, &c. furnish to a State officer, at specified intervals, lists of their cream-suppliers with particulars of the percentages of butter-fat in the various deliveries; providing for the inspection, at the cost of such owners, of cream supplied to them, and the periodical sampling and testing of such cream; imposing such further conditions with respect to the quality of cream so supplied as will tend to ensure the manufacture of high- grade butter., [lOB.
