(AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 3 , 1975.

An Act to amend the Dairy Industry Authority Act, 1970, with respect to the appointment of, and vacation of office by, certain members of the Dairy Industry Prices Tribunal and the Dairy Industry Artificial Breeding Advisory Board. [Assented to, 2nd April, 1975.] BE

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative	Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as

follow
s: —

1.     This Act may be cited as the "Dairy Industry Authority

(Amendment) Act, 1975".

2. The Dairy Industry Authority Act, 1970, is amended—

(a) (i) by inserting in section 42 (7) after the word "Tribunal" the words "pursuant to subsection (2) (b)";

(ii)   by inserting after section 42 (7) the following subsection :—

(7A) A person who is of or above the age of seventy years shall not be appointed as a member of the Tribunal pursuant to subsection

(2) (c) .

(iii)   by omitting section 42 (11) (f) and by inserting instead the following paragraphs :—

(f) if, being the appointed member appointed under subsection (2) (b), he attains the age of sixty-five years;

(fl) if, being the appointed member
appointed under subsection (2) (c),

he attains the age of seventy years; or;

(b) (i) by inserting in section 61 (7) after the word

"Board" the words "pursuant to subsection (2)

(d) or ( e ) " ;

(ii)

(ii)   by inserting after section 61 (7) the following subsection :—

(7A) A person who is of or above the age of seventy years shall not be appointed as a member of the Board pursuant to subsection (2) (f) or (g).

(iii)  by inserting in section 61 (9) (d) after the matter "paragraph (f)" the matter "or (g)" ;

(iv)   by omitting section 61 (9) (f) and by inserting instead the following paragraphs :—

(f) if, being a member appointed under subsection (2) (d) or (e), he attains the age of sixty-five years;

(f1) if, being a member appointed under subsection (2) (f) or (g), he attains the age of seventy years; or.
