DAIRY INDUSTRY AMENDMENT REGULATIONS 1996

Made by His Excellency the Governor in Executive Council.

Citation

1.     These regulations may be cited as the Dairy Industry Amendment

Principal regulations

2. In these regulations the Dairy Industry Regulations 1977* are referred to

as the principal regulations.

Regulation 8 repealed and regulations substituted

3.      Regulation 8 of the principal regulations is repealed and the following

regulations are substituted -

Authority members - nominations by dairymen

8. (1) Where a vacancy occurs, or is about to occur, in the	Act applies, the Minister shall cause to be published in a office of an Authority member to which section 11 (3) (a) of the
newspaper with circulation throughout the State a notice calling for dairymen to nominate persons to be members under that provision.
Authority member under section 11 (3) (a) of the Act shall - (2) A dairyman who wishes to nominate a person to be an

(a)	nominate the person in writing; and
(b)	send the nomination and a resume of the nominee's

relevant qualifications to the Minister's office.

(3) For the purposes of section 11 (5) of the Act, the time by submitted is no later than 21 days after the day on which the	which a nomination referred to in subregulation (2) is to be

Authority members - nominations by relevant bodies

Second Schedule amended

4.      The Second Schedule to the principal regulations is amended by deleting
