s1 2 s6 Dairy Industry Amendment (No. 1) No. 190, 2000 ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Dairy Industry Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 2000 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 July 2000. ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Dairy Industry Regulation 1993 . ˙ Amendment of ss 3 and 4, hdgs 4. Sections 3 and 4, headings, ‘ (s 3 of the Act) ’— omit, insert— ‘ —Act, s 3 ’. ˙ Omission of s 5 (Classification of certain products as pasteurised milk and cream (s 3 of the Act)) 5. Section 5— omit. ˙ Amendment of s 6 (Producers’ licences (s 28(1)(a) and (2) of the Act)) 6.(1) Section 6, heading, ‘ (s 28(1)(a) and (2) of the Act) ’— omit, insert— ‘ —Act, s 28(1)(a) and (2) ’. (2) Section 6(2) and (3), ‘to the processor specified in the licence’— omit, insert— ‘for processing as market milk’.

Section 7— omit, insert— ˙ ‘ Processors’ licences—Act, s 28(1)(b) and (2) ‘ 7.(1) Processors’ licences are to be of the following classes— • Class A (Pasteurisation) • Class B (Receival depot). ‘ (2) A “Class A (Pasteurisation)” processor’s licence authorises the processing of milk as market milk at premises stated in the licence. ‘ (3) A “Class B (Receival depot)” processor’s licence authorises, at premises stated in the licence— (a) the receipt, testing, grading, chilling and storage of milk sold as market milk; and (b) the sale of market milk to processors.’. ˙ Amendment of s 8 (Laboratory licences (s 28(1)(c) of the Act)) 8.
