s1 3 s6 Dairy Industry Amendment (No. 1) No. 332, 1998 PART 1—PRELIMINARY ˙ Short title 1. This regulation may be cited as the Dairy Industry Amendment Regulation (No. 1) 1998 . ˙ Commencement 2. This regulation commences on 1 January 1999. PART 2—AMENDMENT OF DAIRY INDUSTRY REGULATION 1993 ˙ Regulation amended 3. This regulation amends the Dairy Industry Regulation 1993 . ˙ Amendment of s 2 (Definitions) 4. Section 2, definitions “nonparticipating vendor” , “restructuring scheme” , “small commercial consumer” and “supermarket” — omit . ˙ Omission of s 3A (Meaning of “supermarket”) 5. Section 3A— omit . ˙ Amendment of s 6 (Producers’ licences (s 38(1)(a) and (2) of the Act)) 6.(1) Section 6(1), ‘• Class B’— omit .

Section 13— omit . ˙ Replacement of s 14 (Annual review of market milk consumption (s 53(2)(b) of the Act)) 12. Section 14— omit, insert — ˙ ‘ Prescribed class of processor’s licence—Act, s 53A ‘ 14. For section 53A of the Act, definition “relevant processor”, the class of processor’s licence is a Class A (Pasteurisation) processor’s licence.’. ˙ Amendment of s 16 (Returns (s 114(2)(c) of the Act)) 13. Section 16(1)(a) to (c)— omit, insert— ‘(a) for a Class A (Pasteurisation) processor’s licence— (i) the quantity of milk processed for sale at each of the processor’s factory premises in the month; and (ii) the quantity of market milk sold in the month by the processor from each of the processor’s factory premises; and (iii) the quantity of each other kind of dairy produce manufactured by the processor in the month; and (iv) the quantity of each other kind of manufactured dairy produce sold in the month; or (b) for a Class B (Receival depot) or Class D (Producers’ cooperative) processor’s licence—the quantity of milk sold by the processor in the month.’.

In the next reprint of this regulation produced under the Reprints Act1992 , the provisions of this regulation must be numbered and renumbered as permitted by the Reprints Act 1992 , section 43.’. PART 3—REPEAL OF COMPETITION POLICY REFORM (QUEENSLAND—DAIRY INDUSTRY EXEMPTIONS) REGULATION 1998 ˙ Repeal 15.
