This regulation may be cited as the Dairy Industry Amendment Regulation 1991 . Amended regulation 2. The Dairy Industry Regulations 1989 are amended as set out in these regulations.

2 Dairy Industry Amendment Regulations 1991 Name of provision units 3.(1) A provision of the Dairy Industry Regulations 1989 that was, immediately before the commencement of this section, called a regulation may be called a section. (2) A provision of the Dairy Industry Regulations 1989 that was, immediately before the commencement of this section, called a subregulation may be called a subsection. (3) A reference in the Dairy Industry Regulations 1989 to a regulation or subregulation of the regulations designated by a number is a reference to a section or subsection of the regulations designated by that number. References to a provision of the Act 4. If— (a) there is a reference in the Dairy Industry Regulations 1989 to a provision of the Dairy Industry Act 1989 ; and (b) the words ‘of the Act’, or words of similar effect, do not appear at the end of the reference; the Dairy Industry Regulations 1989 are amended by inserting the words ‘of the Act’ at the end of the reference. Replacement of s. 1 (Citation) 5. Section l— omit , insert — ‘Short title ‘1. This regulation may be cited as the Dairy Industry Regulation 1989 . ’. Amendment of heading to Division 1 of Part 4 (Examination, Grading, Testing, Packing and Payment) 6. Heading to Division 1 of Part 4— after ‘ Testing, ’ , insert ‘ Standardisation, ’.

3 Dairy Industry Amendment Regulations 1991 Insertion of new s.22A 7. After section 22— insert— ‘Standardisation of milk ‘22A. For the purposes of section 74(2) of the Act, the prescribed method for the standardisation of milk is the use of one or more of the processes set out in clause 10A of Part H1 of the Food Standards Code. ’.
