DAIRY INDUSTRY (AMENDMENT) ACT.

Act No. 9, 1975.

An Act to amend section 22A of the Dairy Industry Act, 1915, so as to permit an increase in the quantity of table margarine produced in any year; and for purposes connected therewith. [Assented to, 8th April, 1975.]

BE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by
and with the advice and consent of the Legislative
Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in
Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as
follows: —

1. This Act may be cited as the "Dairy Industry

(Amendment) Act, 1975".

2.     The Dairy Industry Act, 1915, is amended—

(a) by omitting from section 22A (6) (b) the word "original" and by inserting instead the word "prior";
(b) by omitting from section 22A (6) (c) the matter "10,800 tons" and by inserting instead the matter "16,460 tonnes".

3. The condition in a table margarine license in force immediately before the date of assent to this Act which specifies the maximum amount of table margarine which may be manufactured or prepared by the holder of the license during the currency of the license shall, on and from the date of assent to this Act, be deemed to be varied by increasing

that amount by fifty per centum thereof. STATUTORY
