AN ACT to amend section 6 of the Dairy Industry Act, 1973 by inserting a new subsection to stand as subsection (4).

RE it enacted by the Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—

Short title

1. (1) This Act may be cited as the Dairy and citation.

In this Act the Dairy Industry Act, 1973 is referred to as the principal Act.

(3) The principal Act as amended by this Act

may be cited as the Dairy Industry Act, 1973-1979.

(4) as follows

(4) In every case where before the coming into operation of the Dairy Industry Act Amendment Act, 1979 a proclamation has, pursuant to this section, been made and published in the Government Gazette, but has not been laid before Parliament pursuant to the requirements of subsection (3) of this section and section 36 of the Interpretation Act, 1918 as applied to the proclamation, such proclamation shall be deemed to have taken effect and have had the force of law on and from the date of the publication thereof in the Government Gazette. .
