DAIRY INDUSTRY ACT 1979 - REGULATION

(Relating to the removal of Nimbin Country Cereal DeLite

from the operation of the Regulation)

HIS Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, and in pursuance of the Dairy Industry Act 1979, has been pleased to make the Regulation set forth hereunder.

Commencement

1. This Regulation commences on 9 November 1990.

Amendment

2. The Dairy Industry (Pricing) Regulation 1984 is amended by omitting from clause 4 (2) (1) the words "Nimbin Country Cereal DeLite".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

The object of this Regulation is to amend the Dairy Industry (Pricing) Regulation 1984 so as to remove "Nimbin Country Cereal DeLite" from the operation of the Regulation.
As a result of a proclamation made under section 5 (1) of the Dairy Industry Act 1979, "Nimbin Country Cereal DeLite" has been removed from the definition of "milk" in that Act and is consequently no longer subject to the pricing controls
contained in that Act.
