Dairy Industry Amendment (Food New South Wales

Safety Scheme) Regulation 1999

Dairy Industry Act 1979

His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has made the following Regulation under the Dairy Industry Act 1979.

Explanatory note
The object of this Regulation is to repeal various provisions of the Dairy Industry Regulation 1995 that deal with the construction and alteration of, and the equipment to be installed in, dairy buildings, dairy produce factories, dairy produce stores and milk stores.

The matters dealt with by the repealed provisions will be dealt with by the Food Safety Scheme prescribed by the Food Production (Dairy Food Safety Scheme) Regulation 1999 under the Food Production (Safety) Act 1998. This Regulation is consequential on the making of that Regulation.

This Regulation is made under the Dairy Industry Act 1979, including section

103 (the general regulation-making power).

1      Name of Regulation

This Regulation is the Dairy Industry Amendment (Food Safety

Scheme) Regulation 1999.

2 Commencement

This Regulation commences on 1 July 1999.

3 Amendment of Dairy Industry Regulation 1995

The Dairy Industry Regulation 1995 is amended as set out in

Schedule 1.

4 Note

The explanatory note does not form part of this Regulation.
