AN ACT to amend the Dairy Cattle Improvement Act,
1922.

B E it enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, byCouncil and Legislative Assembly of Western Australia, inand with the advice and consent of the Legislative

(b) grade bulls,
according as they are pure-bred bulls or bulls which are
not pure-bred.
(2.) Registration of pure-bred bulls shall be required only once, and shall continue during- the life of the pure- bred bull so registered.
The registration shall be effected in the prescribed manner, at the Department of Agriculture, in Perth, on payment of a fee of ten shillings; and a certificate of registration in the prescribed form shall be issued to the owner of the bull.
(3.) Registration of grade bulls shall be effected an- nually in the prescribed manner, at the Department of Agriculture, in Perth, on payment of a fee of five shil- lings; and a certificate of registration in the prescribed form shall be issued to the owner of the bull.
(4.)
On proof of the loss of any certi ficate of regis-
tration, and payment of a fee of two shillings and six-
pence, a duplicate certificate may be issued.

one and inserting in lieu thereof words, as follows:
(1) Registration of any bull in either class of bulls may be refused if, in the opinion of the superintendent of dairying appointed for the purposes of this Act, the bull is below a reasonable standard.
