t h e same, as follows :—

1.     (1) This A c t may be ci ted as the " Dairies Super ­

vision ( A m e n d m e n t ) Ac t , 1930 ."

(2) This A c t shal l c o m m e n c e on a da te to be

appoin ted by the Governor and notihed by proc lamat ion

publ i shed in the Gaze t te .

2 .     T h e Dair ies Supervis ion Ac t , 1901 , is amended—

(a) (i) by omi t t i ng from section t h r ee t h e defini­

t ion of t he expression " Board of hea l th " ;

(ii)   by inserting in the same section after the

definition of " M i l k - v e n d o r " t h e fol lowing

definition : —

" Prescr ibed "—Presc r ibed by th is A c t

or by regula t ion made the reunder .

(b)	(i)	by omi t t i ng from p a r a g r a p h th ree of section five t he words " board of hea l th or i t s officers " and by inser t ing in l ieu thereof t h e words " M i n i s t e r or prescribed officers of the publ ic service " ;
(ii)	by o m i t t i n g from t h e same p a r a g r a p h t h e
words " board or i ts officers" and by inser t ­ ing in l ieu thereof t he words " Minis ter or any such officer " ;

(g)	(i) by omitting from section sixteen the words " board of hea l th " and by inser t ing in lieu thereof t he word " Minis ter " ;

(ii; by omi t t i ng from t h e same section t he words " by the board " and by inser t ing in l ieu thereof t he words " by t he Minis te r " ;

(iii) by omitting from the same section the words " t h e said board may itself execute t he said power or perform the said d u t y " and by inser t ing in lieu thereof t h e words " the Minis ter may cause t he said power to be executed or t he said d u t y to be per­

formed " ;

(h)	by omitting from section seventeen the words " upon t h e recommenda t ion of t he board of hea l th " ;
(i) by inse r t ing n e x t after section six the	follow­

i n g new section :—
