DACEYVILLE EXTENSION ACT.
Act No. 13. 1914.
An Act to sanction laying out an area of land and erecting thereon certain dwelling-houses under the provisions of the Housing Act, 1912 ; and for purposes consequent thereon or incidental thereto. [Assented to, 16th April, 1914.]
WH E R E A S in accordance with the provisions of Assembly did, by resolution, declare that it was the Public Works Act, 1912, the Legislative
expedient to carry out a certain work, namely, the laving out an area of land and erecting thereon certain dwelling-houses, under the provisions of the Housing Act : And whereas, on the passing of the said resolu tion, a statutory duty was by the said Act imposed on the Minister to introduce a Bill into the said Assembly to sanction the carrying out of the said work : Be it therefore enacted by the King's Most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and Legislative Assembly of New South Wales in Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :—

2. The carrying out of the said work (more par
ticularly described in the Schedule to this Act) is hereby
3. The cost of carrying out the said work, estimated at one hundred and fifty thousand pounds, shall he defrayed from the Housing Fund constituted by the Housing Act, 1912, and shall not under any circum stances exceed the estimated cost by more than ten per centum.

T H E work consists of a fur ther extension of the model suburb s i tuated
within the municipali t ies of Mascot and Botany, within the county of Cumberland, and known as " D a c e y v i l l e " or " T h e Dacey Garden Suburb, ' ' and includes t he erection of dwellings and shops, together with t he construct ion of the roads and such levelling and other works as may be necessary in connection therewi th .
