REGULATIONS UNDER THE CUSTOMS ACT 1901.*

I, THE ADMINISTRATOR of the Government of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901.

Amendments of the Customs Regulations 

1. Regulation 19 of the Customs Regulations is repealed and the following regulation substituted:—

“ 19. The working days of the Customs, in relation to the performance of a function specified in column 2 of the following table in an item in that table, are the days specified in column 3 of that table in that item and the working hours of the Customs, in relation to the performance of that function on a day so specified, are the hours specified in column 4 of that table in that item opposite to the reference to that day in column 3 of that table in that item:—

2. Regulation 20 of the Customs Regulations is repealed.

3. Regulation 153 of the Customs Regulations is amended by omitting the words “, and, except by permission of the Collector, only on the working days; and during the working hours prescribed for the purpose of section 28 of the Customs Act 1901
