1. These Regulations shall come into
operation on the first day of January, 1952.
2. Regulation 50 of the Customs
Regulations is amended by omiting the figures “ 325 ”, “ 250 ”, “ 165 ”, “ 30 ”,
“ 45 ”, “ 60 ” and “ 75 ” and inserting in their stead the figures ‘‘ 550 ”, “ 400
”, “ 250 ”, “ 50 ”, “ 75 ”, “ 100 ” and “ 125 ”, respectively.
3. Regulation 51 of the
Customs Regulations is amended by omitting the figures “ 250 ” and “ 165 ” and
inserting in their stead the figures “ 400 ” and “ 250 ”, respectively.
4. Regulation 55 of the Customs
Regulations is amended—
(a)by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the figures “ 325 ” “ 250 ” and “ 165 ”
and inserting in their stead the figures “ 550 ”, “ 400 ” and “ 250 ”,
respectively; and
(b)by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the figures “ 250 ” and “ 165 ” and
inserting in their stead the figures “ 400 ” and “ 250 ”, respectively.
5. Regulation 56 of the
Customs Regulations is amended by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the figures
“ 15 0 0 ”, “ 22 10 0 ”, “ 30 0 0 ”, “ 37 10 0 ” and inserting in their stead
the figures “ 25 0 0 ”, “ 35 0 0 ”, “ 50 0 0 ” and “ 55 0 0 ”, respectively.
6. Regulation 57 of the
Customs Regulations is amended—
(a)by omitting from sub-regulation (1.) the figures “ 325 ”, “ 250 ” and “ 165
” and inserting in their stead the figures “ 550 ”, “ 400 ” and “ 250 ”,
respectively; and
(b)by omitting from sub-regulation (2.) the figures “ 250 ” and “ 165 ” and
inserting in their stead the figures “ 400 ” and “ 250 ”, respectively.
