Customs Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 January 1985.

Agents licence fees

2. Regulation 158 of the Customs Regulations is amended

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) “$10” and substituting “$20”; and

(b) by omitting from paragraph (b) “$120” and substituting “$200”.

Repeal

3. Regulation 177 of the Customs Regulations is repealed.

Documents in possession of Court

4. Regulation 179 of the Customs Regulations is amended by omitting “, after the notice referred to in regulation 177 has been filed in the Court,”.

Schedule 1

5. Schedule 1 to the Customs Regulations is amended

(a) by omitting Form 62;

(b) by omitting from Form 86 “206” (wherever occurring) and substituting “208”; and

(c) by omitting from Form 86 “1901-1925” (wherever occurring) and substituting “1901.
