Customs Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 1 July 1985.

Conditions for refund, &c, of duty

2. Regulation 127 of the Customs Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the following sub-regulation:

“(7)A rebate is not payable under sub-section 164 (1) of the Act to a person in respect of any diesel fuel unless an application for the rebate is made in accordance with regulation 128 within 1 2 months after the date of purchase of the diesel fuel by the person.”.
