Customs Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901.

Commencement

1. These Regulations shall come into operation on 2 December 1985.

Limitations on use of certain words in connection with businesses, premises, &c.

2. Regulation 49a of the Customs Regulations is amended by omitting the penalty at the foot of sub-regulation (1) and substituting the following penalty:

“Penalty: $250.”.
