Customs Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901.

Commencement

1. These Regulations commence on 1 July 1989.

Fees in respect of warehouse licences

2. Regulation 50 of the Customs Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from subregulation (2) “$7,128” and substituting “$7,591”;

(b) by omitting from subregulation (2b) “$5,551” and substituting “$5,919”;

(c) by omitting from paragraph (2c) (a) “$411” and substituting “$427”;

(d) by omitting from paragraph (2c) (b) “$289” and substituting “$301”;

(e) by omitting from paragraph (2c) (c) “$255” and substituting “$265”;

(f) by omitting from paragraph (2c) (d) “$378” and substituting “$393”;

(g) by omitting from paragraph (2c) (e) “$195” and substituting “$203”;

(h) by omitting from paragraph (2c) (f) “$361” and substituting “$375”;

(i) by omitting from paragraph (2c) (g) “$411” and substituting “$427”;

(j) by omitting from paragraph (2d) (a) “$122” and substituting “$128”;

(k) by omitting from paragraph (2d) (b) “$300” and substituting “$312”;

(l) by omitting from paragraph (2d) (c) “$422” and substituting “$440”.

Fees for transactions involving the movement of goods out of warehouses

3. Regulation 52 of the Customs Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from paragraph (1) (a) “$7” and substituting “$8.80”;

(b) by omitting from paragraph (1) (b) “$7 for each 7 lines of the document” and substituting “$8.80 for each 7 lines (or part thereof) in the document”.
