Customs Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Customs Act 1901.

Entry—manner in which made

Regulation 36 of the Customs Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting from paragraph (a) “that is the property of the Commonwealth”;

(b) by adding at the end the following subregulation:

“(2) Entries under subsection 36 (1) of the Act must be able to be processed by the computer system used by the Customs on 1 February 1990 for the purpose of handling the entries.”.
