Customs Regulations (Amendment) (Cth)
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of
the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the
Dated 11 March 1992.

1.1 The Customs Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.
These
Regulations commence on gazettal: see
2.1 Omit the regulation, substitute:
(1) For the purposes of section 163 of the Act, an application for a refund, a rebate (other than a rebate to which section 164 of the Act relates) or a remission of duty must:
(a) be in an approved form or in an approved statement; and
(b) contain such information as is required by the form or statement; and
(c) be signed in the manner specified in the form or statement; and
(d) have with it the fee payable in respect of the application; and
(e) be given to a Collector.
In the case of a circumstance specified in paragraph 126 (1) (ea), it is not necessary to apply for a refund.”.
