I, The Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the
Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the
Dated 18 December 1997.

1.1 The Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations are amended as set out in these Regulations.

2.1 After regulation 5J, insert:
“
“
(a) heading 3004 (‘Medicaments (excluding goods of 3002, 3005 or 3006) consisting of mixed or unmixed products for therapeutic or prophylactic uses, put up in measured doses or in forms or packings for retail sale’); or
(b) Chapter 39 (‘Plastics and articles thereof’); or
(c) Chapter 84 (‘Nuclear reactors, boilers, machinery and mechanical appliances; parts thereof’).
“
