Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Customs Act 1901.

Fourth Schedule

The Fourth Schedule to the Customs (Prohibited Imports) Regulations is amended:

(a) by omitting Items 1, 1a and 1b and substituting the following items:

“1 Acetyl-alpha-methylfentanyl

1a Allylprodine

1b Alfcntanil

1c Alpha-methylfentanyl

1d Alpha-methylthiofentanyl

1e Alprazolam”;

(b) by inserting after Item 8 the following items:

“8a Beta-hydroxyfentanyl

8b Beta-hydroxy-3-methylfentanyl”;

(c) by inserting after Item 76b the following items:

“76c 3-Methylfentanyl

76d 1 -Methyl-4-phenyl-4-propionoxypiperidine

76e 3-Methylthiofentanyl”;

(d) by inserting after Item 93 the following item:

“93aaa Para-fluorofentanyl”;

(e) by inserting after Item 104 the following item:

“104a 1-Phenylethyl-4-phenyl-4-acetoxypipcridine”; and

(f) by inserting after Item 120 the following item:

“120a Thiofentanyl”.
