REGULATIONS UNDER THE CUSTOMS ACT 1901-1917.*

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901-1947.

AMENDMENTS OF THE CUSTOMS (PROHIBITED EXPORTS) REGULATIONS.

Third Schedule.

1. The Third Schedule to the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations is amended by adding at the end thereof the following items :—

" 148

Peanuts, peanut butter,

  peanut kernels, peanut oil and peanut paste

The intending exporter shall produce to the Collector of Customs a covering approval issued by the Department of Commerce and Agriculture

Cotton seed and cotton seed oil ....

The intending exporter shall produce to the Collector of Customs a covering approval issued by the Department of Commerce and Agriculture

Persic oil.....................................

The intending exporter shall produce to the Collector of Customs a covering approval issued by the Department of Commerce and Agriculture

Olive oil......................................

The intending exporter shall produce to the Collector of Customs a covering approval issued by the Department of

Apricot kernels ...........................

 Commerce and Agriculture The intending exporter shall produce to the Collector of Customs a covering approval issued by the Department of Commerce and Agriculture.".

Fourth Schedule.

2. The Fourth Schedule to the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations is amended by inserting after item 9 the following item:-

" 9A

Streptomycin.".
