Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations2(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901.

Export of goods specified in the Fifth Schedule

 1. Regulation 7 of the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations is amended by omitting “Department of Transport” and substituting “Department of Aviation”.

Export of goods specified in Schedule 13

 2. Regulation 13B of the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations is amended—

  • (a)

    by omitting from sub-regulation (1) “Minister of State for Industry and Commerce” and substituting “Minister of State for Defence Support”; and

  • (b)

    by omitting from sub-regulation (2) “Minister of State for Industry and Commerce” and substituting “Minister of State for Defence Support”.

Fifth Schedule

 3. The Fifth Schedule to the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations is amended by omitting from the heading “DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORT” and substituting “DEPARTMENT OF AVIATION”.

Schedule 13

 4. Schedule 13 to the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations is amended by omitting from the heading “MINISTER OF STATE FOR INDUSTRY AND COMMERCE” and substituting “MINISTER OF STATE FOR DEFENCE SUPPORT”.
