Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations2 (Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulation under the Customs Act 1901.

Ninth Schedule

The Ninth Schedule to the Customs (Prohibited Exports) Regulations is amended by inserting after Item 7 the following item:

“8 Flash discharge X-ray units (including lubes, parts and accessories designed for use in, or in conjunction with, such units) having—

(a) a peak power greater than 500 megawatts;

(b) an output voltage greater than 500 kilovolts; and

(c) a pulse width less than 0.2 microsecond”.
