Customs (Narcotics Inquiries) Regulations2

(Amendment)

I, THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901.

Schedule 1

1. Schedule 1 to the Customs (Narcotics Inquiries) Regulations is amended by omitting from the form of warrant for the purposes of subsection 219b (5) of the Act:

“TO: Officials of the *Australian Federal Police/*National Crime Authority within the meaning of Division 1a of Part XII of the Customs Act 1901.

and substituting:

“TO: Officials of the *Australian Federal Police/*National Crime Authority who, under subsection 219d (1) of the Customs Act 1901,may exercise the authority conferred by this warrant.”.

Schedule 2

2. Schedule 2 to the Customs (Narcotics Inquiries) Regulations is amended by omitting from the form of warrant for the purposes of subsection 219b (7) of the Act:

“TO: Officials of the *Australian Federal Police/*National Crime Authority within the meaning of Division la of Part XII of the Customs Act 1901.

and substituting:

“TO: Officials of the *Australian Federal Police/*National Crime Authority who, under subsection 219d (l) of the Customs Act 1901,may exercise the authority conferred by this warrant.”.
