This instrument is the
Customs Legislation Amendment (Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Consequential Amendments) Regulations 2017 .
(1) Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

This instrument is made under the
Customs Act 1901.
Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
Repeal the definition, substitute:
SGG orsynthetic greenhouse gas means any of the following:
(a) an HFC;
(c) a PFC;
(d) sulfur hexafluoride.
Insert:
sulfur hexafluoride means the substance referred to in Part 11 of Schedule 15, whether existing alone or in a mixture.
Repeal the item.
Repeal the item, substitute:

Insert:
sulfur hexafluoride means the substance referred to in Part 11 of Schedule 10, whether existing alone or in a mixture.
Omit “the conditions in paragraph 13(6A)(b) or (c) of the
Ozone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989 are satisfied”, substitute “subsection 13(5) or (6) of theOzone Protection and Synthetic Greenhouse Gas Management Act 1989 applies”.
Repeal the item.
Repeal the item, substitute:

Insert:
nitrogen trifluoride means the substance referred to in Part 12 of Schedule 15, whether existing alone or in a mixture.
