An Ordinance to renew certain Acts ap- pointing Places for the Landing of Goods within the Limits of Towns not being sea- port Towns.

WHEREAS an Act was passed in the seventh year of the reign 7th Viet. No. 5, and 8th

entitled "an Act to remove doubts as to the liability of certain par- ties to pay for landing goods under special permission at other places than the appointed landing places; and whereas the said Acts have now expired, and it is expedient to revive the same ;—Be it therefore enacted, by His Excellency the Governor of Western Australia and its Dependencies, by and with the advice and consent of the Legisla- tive Council thereof, that the said Acts shall be and the same are hereby renewed and made perpetual.

Indemnity to parties act- II. AND be it further enacted, that all persons who shall have iug during the interval, •

and such acts made valid. aeu according to the provisions of the said Acts during the in- acted din t,

terval since the expiration of the same shall be, and they are hereby jointly and severally indemnified, freed, and discharged from and against all Actions, Suits, Prosecutions and Penalties whatsoever for or on account of or in respect of any acts done during the said interval in pursuance of, or in conformity with, the provisions of the said Acts, and all such acts done by them as aforesaid are hereby con- firmed and made binding.
