REGULATION UNDER THE CUSTOMS ACT 1901–1916.
I, THE
GOVERNOR-GENERAL in and over the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with
the advice of the Federal Executive Council, hereby make the following

Amendment of the Customs (Cinematograph Films) Regulations.
(Statutory Rules 1918, No. 128.)
Regulation 9 of the Customs (Cinematograph Films) Regulations 1918 is repealed, and the following is inserted in its stead:—
“9. (
a ) A copy of each imported poster, photograph, sketch, programme, and slide intended to be used in connexion with the exhibition within the Commonwealth of Australia of any imported cinematograph film shall be submitted to the Commonwealth Board of Censors for approval.(
b )All posters, photographs, sketches, programmes, and slides in connexion with which a copy of such poster, photograph, sketch, programme, or slide has been submitted to the Commonwealth Board of Censors, shall be exhibited in exactly the same condition, and without any addition thereto, as the sample copy which has been approved by the Commonwealth Board of Censors.(
c ) All posters, photographs, sketches, programmes, and slides, which are not approved by the Commonwealth Board of Censors, shall be deemed to be prohibited imports within the meaning of theCustoms Act. 1901–1916.” (T. & C. ’18/A.5805.)
