CUSTOMS BY-LAW AMENDMENT NOTICE (No. 1) 2010

AMENDMENT OF CUSTOMS BY-LAW No. 9640001

CUSTOMS ACT 1901

I, Anthony Nicholas Seebach, delegate of the Chief Executive Officer, under section 271 of the Customs Act 1901 and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901, hereby amend Customs By-law No. 9640001 written to item 7 in Schedule 4 to the Customs Tariff Act 1995 and published in the Commonwealth Gazette No. GN 21 of 9 May 1996, as set out in the Schedule below:

The Schedule

1.Paragraph 3(a), Table 1, item relating to the Anglo-Australian Telescope Board

Repeal the item.

2.Paragraph 3(b), Table 2

Omit “Anglo-Australian Telescope Board”.

3.Paragraph 5

Omit “Customs Tariff Act 1987”, substitute “Customs Tariff Act 1995”, wherever occurring.

This instrument shall be deemed to have taken effect on and from 1 July 2010.
