I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Customs Act 1901.

  1. Name of Regulations

These Regulations are the Customs Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 5).

  1. Commencement

These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.

  1. Amendment of Customs Regulations 1926

Schedule 1 amends the Customs Regulations 1926.

Schedule 1          Amendment

(regulation 3)

[1]          Paragraph 1C (1) (d)

substitute

(d)the Australian Air Force roundel (displayed in any colour or combination of colours) that forms part of the flag:

(i)appointed under section 5 of the Flags Act 1953 to be the ensign of the Australian Air Force; and

(ii)known as the Royal Australian Air Force Ensign;

is the insignia for an aircraft in the service of the Australian Defence Force.
