CEO INSTRUMENT OF APPROVAL NO. 7 OF 2006

APPROVAL OF INTERNATIONAL MAIL CENTRES FOR
THE PURPOSES OF PART XII OF THE CUSTOMS ACT 1901

I, MICHAEL JOSEPH CARMODY, Chief Executive Officer of Customs, under paragraph (f) of the definition of ‘Customs place’ in subsection 183UA(1) of the Customs Act 1901 approve the places described in columns 1 and 2 of the attached schedule to this instrument to be places for the examination of international mail, subject to any conditions listed in column 4 opposite.

All previous instruments approving places for the examination of international mail made under paragraph (f) of the definition of ‘Customs place’ in subsection 183UA(1) of the Customs Act 1901 are hereby revoked.

This instrument of approval comes into effect on the day it is registered.
