I, LIONEL BARRIE WOODWARD, Chief Executive Officer of Customs, under to section 4A and subsection 64AA(7) of the Customs Act 1901 (the Act), approve the attached “ARRIVAL REPORT (SEA)” as an approved statement for the purposes of communicating electronically particulars of the arrival of a ship at a port in accordance with section 64AA of the Act.

This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.

ARRIVAL REPORT (SEA)

Approved statement – Customs Act 1901 subsection 64AA(7)

Item No.	Short title	Information required
1	Sender Reference	The identifier assigned by the person communicating the report to identify (and distinguish from others) the report and all subsequent amendments to the report.
2	Sender Reference Version	The numeric identifier assigned by the person communicating the report to identify the version of the report or sequence of related reports.
3	Vessel ID	The identifier of the ship to which the report relates: the Lloyds identification number of the ship; or if the vessel does not have a Lloyds identification number, the identification code allocated to the operator of the ship by Customs.
4	Voyage Number	The unique number assigned by the principal agent of the ship for the journey to Australia.
5	Arrival Port Code	The UNLocode, as published by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UN/ECE), of the place where the port, to which the report relates, is located (the port).
6	Actual Arrival Date	The date the ship arrived at the port.
7	Actual Arrival Time	The time the ship arrived at the port.
8	Principal Agent ID	The Australian Business Number (ABN), or code allocated by Customs (the Customs Client Identifier or CCID), of the principal agent of the ship.
9	Stevedore ID	The ABN or CCID assigned to the stevedore who is unloading the goods on board the ship at the port.
10	Stevedore Establishment ID	The identifier of the stevedore establishment that is unloading the goods onboard the ship at the port.
11	Berth Code	The code of the berth where the ship is moored at the wharf.
