CEO INSTRUMENT OF APPROVAL NO. 1 OF 2009

APPROVAL OF INTERNATIONAL MAIL CENTRES FOR
THE PURPOSES OF PART XII OF THE CUSTOMS ACT 1901

I, MICHAEL JOSEPH CARMODY, Chief Executive Officer of Customs, under paragraph (f) of the definition of ‘Customs place’ in subsection 183UA(1) of the Customs Act 1901, approve the places described in columns 1 and 2 of the attached schedule to this instrument to be places for the examination of international mail.

CEO Instrument of Approval No. 7 of 2006 is revoked.

This instrument of approval comes into effect on the day after it is registered.
