  1. Name of Determination

This Determination is the Currency (Royal Australian Mint) Determination 2006 (No. 4).

  1. Commencement

This Determination commences on the day after it is registered.

  1. Definition

In this Determination:

Act means the Currency Act 1965.

  1. Specification of coin

For subsection 13A (1) of the Act, item 1 of Schedule 1 specifies, for a coin having the denomination and standard composition specified in the item:

(a)    the coin’s standard weight, and the allowable variation from that weight; and

(b)    the coin’s dimensions; and

(c)    the coin’s design.

  1. Application of Determination

The specification in Schedule 1 does not affect any other determination of the specification of a coin.

A design consisting of the inscriptions:

     (a)   ‘APEC AUSTRALIA 2007’; and

    (b)   ‘ONE DOLLAR’;

surrounding the APEC sun (the centrepiece of the APEC AUSTRALIA 2007TM logo) enclosed by a circle.
