1  Name of determination

This determination may be cited as the Currency (Royal Australian Mint) Amendment Determination (No. 1) 2016.

2  Commencement

This determination commences on the day after it is registered.

3  Authority

This determination is made under the Currency Act 1965.

4  Schedule(s)

Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.

Schedule 1—Amendments

Currency (Royal Australian Mint) Determination 2015 (No. 4)

1  Schedule 1, Part 2, item 26 (subparagraph (c)(iv) of the reverse design)

Omit subparagraph, substitute:

(iv)   ‘C’; and

2  Schedule 1, Part 2, item 26 (after subparagraph (c)(iv) of the reverse design)

Insert:

(d)   a circle of raised beads immediately inside the rim.

Omit subparagraph, substitute:
