  1. Name of Determination

This Determination is Currency Determination 1999 (No. 6).

  1. Commencement

This Determination commences on gazettal.

  1. Specification of coins

This Determination specifies, for a coin having the denomination and standard composition specified in columns 2 and 3 of Part 1 of Schedule 1, the standard weight, the allowable variation from that weight, the dimensions and the design specified in columns 4, 5 and 6 of that Part.

  1. Application of Determination

This Determination does not affect any other Determination of the specifications of a coin.

   (ii)    a representation of the Olympic rings in Olympic colours;

(c) a representation of a kookaburra sitting on a eucalyptus branch with a worm in its beak; and

(d) the letter ‘P’ or ‘C’.

(a) representations of different weather conditions, including clouds, sun, rain, a rainbow and hail; and

(b) the letter ‘P’ or ‘C’; and

(c) a tablet enclosing:

   (i)    the inscription ‘Sydney 2000’; and

   (ii)    a representation of the Olympic rings in Olympic colours;

that, in turn, surround a representation of a flock of birds flying over Sydney Harbour, with an artificial structure depicted in the foreground.

(a) 15 tablets of varying sizes, each enclosing an abstract representation of an Olympic sport; and

(b) a tablet enclosing:

   (i)    the inscription ‘Sydney 2000’; and

   (ii)    a representation of the Olympic rings;

that, in turn, surround:

(c) the inscription ‘ACHIEVEMENT’; and

(d) a representation of a person placing a medal around the neck of an Olympic competitor; and

(e) the letter ‘P’.
