Currency (Australian Coins) Determination 2019   1

1  Name

  This instrument is the Currency (Australian Coins) Amendment (2021 Royal Australian Mint No. 4) Determination 2021.

2  Commencement

(1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

1  Schedule 2020, Part 1, clause 3 (table items 32 and 33)

Repeal the items, substitute:

32 Obverse O23

A design consisting of an effigy of Queen Elizabeth II and the following:

(a) in the background, a representation of golden wattle; and

(b) a representation of the Commonwealth Star (also known as the Star of Federation); and

(c) a stylised scroll; and

(d) in the foreground, a representation of an emu standing over a nest of eggs; and

(e) the following:

(i) “X OUNCE .9999 Au” (where “X” is the nominal weight in ounces of the coin, expressed as a whole number or common fraction in Arabic numerals); and

(ii) “JC”.
