CTA15 appeared in person.

MR K. TREDREA:   May it please the Court, I appear for the first defendant.  (instructed by Sparke Helmore)

HIS HONOUR:   Thank you, Mr Tredrea.  Whilst you are on your feet, I understand that the applicant has been unable to secure the services of an interpreter and needs one.  Am I correct?

MR TREDREA:   That is correct, your Honour, yes.

HIS HONOUR:   Very well.  Mr Plaintiff, I do not know whether you can understand me, but I gather that you need an interpreter to assist you and you do not have one.  Is that the position?  Yes, I see.  Mr Tredrea, what I propose to do, if this is not too inconvenient to you, is to adjourn the further hearing of this matter till next Thursday at 9.30 am, Eastern Standard Time ‑ that would be 8 September – in the hope that by then the services of an interpreter could be secured.

MR TREDREA:   Thank you, your Honour.

HIS HONOUR:   Thank you.  In that case I shall order that the further hearing of this application be adjourned till Thursday, 8 September 2016 at 9.30 am, Eastern Standard Time, and reserve each party’s costs today.

MR TREDREA:   Thank you.

HIS HONOUR:   Adjourn now, sine die.
